Centro ABRE is a packaging laboratory associated to the University of Monterrey. It opened in November 2011 at the Research,Technology and Innovation Park in Apodaca, Nuevo Leon, Mexico.


--Boosting business competitiveness through innovation in the integral design of its packaging, allowing the entry and positioning in local and global markets. --Promoting Research and Innovation Development of packaging through the application of new technologies and processes and use of materials and friendly environment. --Boost the competitiveness of enterprises through the optimization of packaging materials and processes, packaging, packing and distribution. --Promote through consulting package design, packaging and packing, technological innovation and sustainability, with a full-service approach, with technical and business feasibility. --Certify and validate packaging through laboratory tests, complying with national and international standards of packaging and transportation. --Train students and industry through continuing education programs through courses, workshops, seminars and certificate relating to packaging.

IAPRI 2018

IAPRI Symposium attracts over 130 delegates

The IAPRI Symposium in Lausanne (9-12 May) attracted delegates over 130 delegates from 20 countries. There were 99 papers in total out of which 69 are oral.
