INCPEN is a research organisation funded by a group of companies with a common interest in packaging, the environment and sustainable development. We aim to: --ensure that policy on packaging makes a positive contribution to sustainability --encourage industry to minimise the environmetnal impact of packaging and packaged goods and continuously improve packaging --explain the role of packaging in society. INCPEN's members are international and British companies involved in all aspects of packaged goods - material suppliers, packaging manufacturers, producers, wholesalers and retailers of packaged goods - who share a vision of the future where all production, distribution, and consumption are sustainable. We work with a wide range of stakeholders from consumer and environmental groups, local government and since 1989 have produced highly regarded educational resources for schools and colleges.
