IAPRI Packaging Conference Awards
IAPRI Conference Presentation Awards
IAPRI awards three scientists’ prizes for presentations at each IAPRI Conference. These awards are sponsored by Lansmont Corporation, and IAPRI gratefully acknowledges their continued support of packaging research and the IAPRI conference program.
The awards are:
Most Promising Research — $1,000
Recognizes scientific work with strong relevance, quality, and potential academic or industrial impact.
Best Oral Presentation — $750
Recognizes the strongest overall oral presentation, including clarity, organization, delivery, and the presenter’s ability to communicate the research effectively.
Best Poster Presentation — $500
Recognizes the strongest overall poster presentation, including clarity of the poster, communication of the research, presentation quality, and the potential for further development of the work.
Nomination and Judging Process
The nomination and judging process takes place during the conference. Board members, session moderators, and members of the Conference Award Observer Team serve as the nominations team. They attend oral and poster sessions, observe presentations, and identify presentations that should be considered for each award category.
Nominations are reviewed using the award criteria, and final award selections are made based on the strength of the research and the quality of the presentation. Authors do not need to submit a separate application to be considered; eligible presentations are considered through the conference observation and nomination process.
Award recipients are announced after the IAPRI Annaul Membership meeting the afternoon of the last day.
