Membership

Membership is open to any institution, organization or company whether academic or commercial who is involved in packaging research, testing or education. Organizations not directly involved in research but support or are associated with packaging are also eligible for membership. Currently there 81 member institutes and corporations from 29 countries in membership. The event alternates between a IAPRI Member Conference (members only) and IAPRI World Packaging conference (Open to All).

IAPRI offer members access to a unique global network which brings together individuals from all over the world working in a range of packaging disciplines. Although allowed in the by-laws, at this time there are no Other Membership Types established by the board of directors.

Institutional Membership in IAPRI is open to universities, research institutes, and other organizations where packaging research, packaging test method development, and/or higher education programs in packaging are core activities.

Institutional Members support IAPRI’s knowledge sharing mission by exchanging research, data, and expertise through conferences, symposia, and working groups.

Institutional membership fee is $725 per annum

Corporate Membership is available to for profit organizations with a demonstrated interest in packaging research, package testing, and/or higher education engagement, and who wish to be recognized as active supporters of IAPRI’s mission.

Corporate Members contribute to the network by sharing technical knowledge and practical experience through IAPRI events, conferences, and working groups. Corporate membership is limited to no more than twenty five percent (25%) of the number of Institutional Members.

Corporate membership fee is $1,390 per annum

Affiliate Membership is available to associations and professional societies that are not directly engaged in packaging research, test method development, or higher education programs, but are prepared to contribute technical or educational insights that advance IAPRI’s objectives.

The Board may establish additional terms of reference for any new Affiliate Member.
